The public is invited to join the Bradford Memorial Library Friends of the Library for their annual Sloppy Joe Dinner at the El Dorado Civic Center on Friday, October 26, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The meal consists of a Sloppy Joe sandwich, baked beans, pasta salad or chips, dessert and a drink. Cost for the meal is $8.00 for and adult and $5.00 for children under 12 years of age. Takeout meals are available.
Highlight of the evening is the Dessert Auctions which begins at 6:00 p.m. with Dave Sundgren serving as the auctioneer. Besides beautiful desserts, pies, and cookies we have a queen-sized quilt pieced by Friends of the Library member Marcella Schmidt. It is machine quilted and is 99” X 84”.
Proceeds from the supper and auction help support the Bradford Memorial Library activities including Trick or Treat Down Main Street, the Outreach Program, technology, and the Summer Reading activities.
